www.facebook.com/pages/Alberto…I am a Spanish artist and illustrator born in Estepona (Málaga) in 1984. From a very young age, I have always shown an interest in drawing and painting but it was not until 2012 that I started creating my own art at a professional level.
Since I was a child, I always liked being alone and immersing myself in my own world of creativity and imagination. While most children enjoyed playing outdoors, I used to spend much of my time in my room drawing, painting and writing.
Mainly inspired by Flemish Renaissance painting and Surrealism, my most important artistic influences include Salvador Dalí, Hieronymus Bosch, Pieter Brueghel the Elder, René Magritte and contemporary artist Vladimir Kush, among others.
My work is the reflection of my inner worlds: a group of visions, landscapes, portraits, moments and ideas which I use to capture my fears, fantasies and dreams. I believe that it is only through art that I feel completely free and confident to distort reality, tell stories and share my most hidden feelings and thoughts.
My works are halfway between painting and illustration. There is usually a story behind them. I really enjoy writing stories, poems or essays to accompany my images so that the ideas that I want to express can be fully conveyed.
At present, I live in Shrewsbury (United kingdom).
